Maldives Anniversary Long Weekend
Three nights, an overwater villa and a dinner nobody else attends
Starting from
₹1,19,999
per couple
Four nights, speedboat transfers, all the lagoon and none of the wait
The single biggest cost in a Maldives trip is often the seaplane. Resorts in South Malé Atoll are reached by speedboat in under an hour, which removes both the transfer cost and the daylight-only constraint on your flights.
What you give up is remoteness. What you get is a trip that costs close to half, works with a late-evening arrival, and puts you on a genuinely good reef within four days of deciding to go.
This is our most-booked package for couples who want the Maldives for an anniversary or a long weekend rather than a full honeymoon.
A working outline rather than a fixed schedule. Every day can be moved, and at least one is deliberately left empty.
Day 1
Met at arrivals and taken to the resort jetty. The crossing takes about 45 minutes and runs at any hour, so a late flight costs you nothing but a slightly later dinner.
Meals: dinnerStay: Beach Villa with Private Pool
Day 2
Guided snorkelling over the house reef after breakfast. The drop-off here starts close to shore, so you are over coral within a few minutes of entering the water. The afternoon is open.
Meals: breakfast, dinnerStay: Beach Villa with Private Pool
Day 3
A slow day, then a traditional dhoni out for sunset fishing. Whatever you catch is grilled for you at the beach restaurant that evening if you want it.

Day 4
Entirely open until evening, when dinner is at the overwater restaurant. Optional add-ons: a couples treatment at the spa or a lagoon kayak.

One travel designer picks this up, checks live availability for your dates and comes back with real numbers — usually the same day.
Before you go
November to April. The dry north-east monsoon brings flat seas, reliable sunshine and the best underwater visibility of the year. May to October is greener, quieter and noticeably cheaper, with short sharp showers rather than all-day rain.
